Camp Greenville
What a wonderful experience! Here is a quick synopsis of our field trip: Monday afternoon, we hiked to Rainbow Falls. The one mile hike to the falls was easy and fun. The one mile hike back to the top was exhilarating and equally as much fun. That night, we had an indoor campfire with s´mores and fireside stories. On Tuesday, we woke up early and enjoyed four different science classes. One of them was Animal Adaptations which gave the students an opportunity to hold snakes and turtles. We had a night hike to Pretty Place which has amazing views of Greenville and beyond. On Wednesday, we woke up, ate a hardy breakfast and took part in our last learning opportunity. The kids played a game that allowed them to be a herbivore, omnivore or carnivore working to survive in a mountainous habitat. It was a time to work together and learn more about each other and the science around us.
