International Day of Peace and Cultural Dish Taste Testing
This week, we celebrated the International Day of Peace. Our community meeting was an amazing experience as we learned about different cultures. Every Montessori class studied a different culture from across the world. We also watched a short film on a man that took part in a walk across America in silence. After viewing the film, we took a minute's worth of silence. When we returned to our classrooms, we participated in a taste testing from the many cultures in our Montessori families. We were able to enjoy food that we had never tasted before and it was a great experience. Special thanks to everyone that participated in our cultural taste testing!
